By creating an account or using ZynAssist, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our service.
ZynAssist ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered chat widget that businesses embed on their websites to automatically answer visitor questions using content from their own website. The service is operated by ZynAssist and is available at zynassist.com.
By registering for an account, accessing, or using the ZynAssist service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organisation, and accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@zynassist.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are used fraudulently, in violation of these Terms, or that remain inactive for an extended period.
New accounts receive a free trial subscription. The trial gives you full access to ZynAssist for the duration specified at sign-up. No payment is required during the trial. When the trial expires your access will be suspended unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the period selected (monthly or annual). By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable fee at the start of each billing period.
All prices are exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
Your subscription allows the AI agent to learn from up to 500 pages of your website. This limit applies across all active crawl sessions. We reserve the right to introduce additional usage tiers in the future with reasonable advance notice.

ZynAssist uses large language models to generate responses based on the content of your website. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing the quality of responses and ensuring that the content crawled from your website is accurate. We do not warrant that AI responses will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
You retain ownership of your website content and any data you provide to ZynAssist. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to crawl, process, and store your website content solely to operate and improve the AI agent for your account.
We will not sell your data to third parties. Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
All software, algorithms, interfaces, and documentation forming part of the ZynAssist service are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you other than the limited right to use the service as described.
We aim to keep ZynAssist available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZynAssist and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including loss of revenue, profits, or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold ZynAssist harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use ZynAssist ceases immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period after termination in accordance with our Privacy Policy before deletion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of ZynAssist shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
